I mostly use meditations and prayers as a means of surrendering the thoughts and feelings that are no longer serving me and that need transforming. If you practice this type of short prayer (to God, the Universe, your Guides, Guardian Angel or whoever you wish to address your words to) on a daily basis you will see results. You will, for instance, start becoming more self-aware of the thoughts and emotional patterns you wish to release. And self-consciousness is the very first step for any personal change to occur 👌
These short prayers are mostly from “The Law of Divine Compensation” by Marianne Williamson – a great book for anyone interested in understanding how we can unleash the power of the Universe and work “with the flow”, instead of battling against life.
Meditation introduction
Dear God,
I give this time of quiet to You.
Please dissolve my thoughts of stress and fear
And deliver me to the inner place
Where all is peace and love.

Transforming a negative sense of Self
Dear God,
I feel myself falling into the hole of self-pity, self-obsession, and negativity.
I know I shouldn’t think this way, but I’m afraid and I cannot stop.
Please replace my thoughts with Yours.
I am willing to see myself and all things differently.
Please send me the miracle of new eyes and ears, that I might know my greater good.

Dear God,
Please help me to forgive my mistakes of the past.
Please help me to forgive those who denied me my good.
Please show me the innocence inside us all.
I am willing to see that only love is real, but the pain of circumstances holds a grip on my heart.
Please flood my mind with divine perception, that I might see through the veil of illusion, and be free to begin again.
